My Poetry

I looked into your eyes and saw a light
at the end of a long cold night
An angel to stay at my side,
In your eyes I could see my whole life
the way it should have been
You were an answer to a prayer
I knew the feel of your skin
To live our lives without a care
A simple moment in my mind
A brief few seconds frozen in time.

I would like to find that moment in life
and freeze the world in eternal ice
Where home would always be as it was
and never be violated by lands asphalt plague
A place were all things would never change
Where you would be at my side
the world would be ours
A place where we would never part
both hidden in a single heart.
